Tomb-Sweeping Day is both a traditional Chinese festival and the day of worshiping ancestors and sweeping tombs.On the morning of March 3rd,the activity commemorating the first president of Henan University was held before the former site of the Preparatory School of Studying in Europe and America and it is hosted by the student work department of Party Committee and undertaken by Youth league committee of Law School. It has been the eighth year of the activity of commemorating the first president of Henan University -Lin Boxiang.
Mr Lin Boxiang’s relatives,Deputy Secretary of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Henan University Zhang Baoming,main leaders of the school offices,deputy Party secretary and deputy secretary of Youth League Committee,all the leaders and the representative faculty of Law School participated in the activity.The representatives of Law school presented a flower basket and bowed at the bronze statue of Lin Boxiang.Faculty stood solemnly and paid homage to the bronze statue of Lin Boxiang.
